One day trip to Pulau Ketam
Pulau Ketam also called it as "Crab Island" at klang, Malaysia. The island is easily accessible from the Port Klang jetty by ferry. We all take KTM Komuter train to reach the jetty. In Klang, we take the high speed ferry to Pulau Ketam. Its only a half hour ride away from the hustle and bustle of Port Klang.
The island is the best opportunity for visitors to witness and experience the unique lifestyle of fishermen. Home stay facilities are readily available. There no such air pollution, traffic jams, car park problem and etc for villagers here. The population (only 8,000) is mostly Chinese (Teochew, Hokkien and Hainanese).
We enjoyed the trip very much. This was how we started this wonderful trip, simple yet memorable day trip when almost everyone of us managed to agree to go this place.

My dream car!!!
When I was a kid, I was going somewhere with my Dad, and in front of us we saw a car getting ready to make a turn. I was fascinated watching the taillights flash in sequence from inside to outside. The car was sleek, if a bit boxy. I honestly cannot remember if it was a ragtop or not, but the taillights were really cool. I had just seen my first 1965 Ford Thunderbird.
The 1965 T-Bird was the fourth generation of the famous car, which was first introduced by Ford in 1955. There had been styling changes over the years, but the car remained a powerful competitor to the Chevy Corvette.
Something about this car just calls to me. It will be some time before I can afford to get my hands on one, let alone have it restored. However, when I do, it will be well worth it. In the meantime, safe driving!

My New Watch
I finally had to put away my old watch today. It was a gift of love from my family and it had sat on my wrist everyday for over 25 years. It had gone through over 50 batteries and half a dozen wrist bands. One of the digital watchs ever made; it had served me faithfully and well.
Gradually though , the number on it had faded until i could no longer read them clearly. I couldn't bring myself to toss it in the trash however and put it in my dresser drawer instead.

My Nuclear Stress Test
Today I had my first very nuclear stress test. It was done at my doctor’s diagnostic center instead of in a hospital. I was not afraid of it, but I would have appreciated knowing a bit more about it ahead of time.
Before the test I was given the usual set of instructions on how to prepare. I was told to not take my blood pressure medication the night before. I couldn’t’ have chocolate, caffeine, or decaffeinated beverages or herbal tea for 24 hours before the test. I had to refrain from all food for four hours preceding the test. I was encouraged to drink lots of water. I was told to bring a snack that did not contain either caffeine or chocolate. I brought a tangerine, Wheat Thins, nuts, and dried fruit.
I arrived at the diagnostic center at 10 AM as instructed. I was ushered into a room where I needed to remove my underwear on top, but was allowed to put my T-shirt back on. They hooked me up to the EKG monitor in the room that had the treadmill. They took my blood pressure. And they inserted an IV with some radioactive material into my right arm. I was surprised that the IV was a complete unit not attached to anything outside of me, and was only about 6-8 inches long. I could move from room to room without something big to which I was attached following me. After the IV was inserted, I was taken across the hall to the scanner. I needed to be hooked up to another set of EKG monitors (the others had been removed), and I was given two glasses of plain water to drink. The table on which I was to lie was very narrow and long. They made me as comfortable with pillows and support under my knees as possible. The only thing I found uncomfortable that I wasn’t prepared to expect was that my arms had to remain above my head.

Broga Hill, Semenyih
I just went with a group of friends yesterday to catch sunrise. We didn't get to see the sunrise but the view was still lovely. Surprisingly, we didn't 'encounter' any mosquitoes. The land was a bit soft and slippery as it was after the rain yesterday morning. But it was an easy hike up.When we were leaving in our cars, an 'uncle' came up to us to ask for 'RM2 Parking Fee'. We didn't want to pay and leave. He threatened to say that he won't let us in the next time and asked us to watch out! That incident spoiled an otherwise lovely hike.

Tony Roma's Dinner
Yesterday, I enjoyed my dinner with my friends at restaurant Tony Roma's. I got the chicken with creamed spinach with wild rice some other stuff. It's was so pretty yummy. My friends got the steaks/lobster tail and ribs dishes and said they were just "ok". Not great but not bad. Their onion loaf and mozzarella sticks were good. It was incredibly busy and there was a wait for the table. But our server, named Suerte, was really nice and on the ball, so cheers to her. All in all, an ok meal if you don't mind the noise or crowd.

I Love Horror Movies!
I LOVE HORROR MOVIES. I really really mean that. I have more of an appreciation for them than anybody else I have ever met. But I do have a confession to make. The last time I got scared from a horror movie I was watching Darkness Falls with my friend.
Ever since then I haven't been afraid of a horror movie, whether its a thriller or a slasher or any kind really. So I just love the rush that these movies give me. Maybe ever. But I still love the ideas and the killing and the twists and everything.
My all-time favorite movies are the Saw series. One through five, mainly because of the killing and the story line. The twists in every single one of those movies are absolutely amazing!

I am ugly!!!
Today, my classmates say that i look like Mr. Bean. They do it maybe because of their insecurities or cause they feel jealous. I always think that they're lying to be polite. When strangers started to stop me in the grocery store and tell me I was handsome so I feel better about myself. The thing is, there are a couple of guys at school who are total assholes and they call me a horse.
It really starts to annoy me sometimes but then I remember that I shouldn't care. So what if three retarded guys call me ugly? I could care less because I've got friends and family that love me. Boys always have a way of making girls fell inferior but remember that hey mature two years slower than we do.

Tenji Dinner
Today, I am had a nice birthday dinner with my friends and we all went for buffet dinner at Tenji Mont Kiara. Buy 4 free 1 it's not that expensive (it's still expensive thoungh, RM88++ per pax) so we are paying RM404 for 5 persons.
The food from there was good but not fresh. I think most of the buffet dinner now do not serve really fresh food. probably it's weekend and the restaurant just need to clear all the leftover food from the weeday?
I noticed that most of the food are generally the same after you went to a few different buffet dinner. none of it that has a really special dish that catch your attention, there are many choices but all are almost the same...hahaha...I guess I enjoy ala-carte more.

iPhone 4 in Malaysia
After a long time for waiting of iPhone 4 since June 2010, iPhone 4 finally arrive in the end of September. I was looking for iPhone 4 at Apple Store Malaysia and there are only 2 telecommunication carriers (Digi and Maxis) in Malaysia will provide iPhone 4 to Malaysia iPhone4 fans.
Maxis has unveiled the iPhone 4 prices based on their contract period. There will recommended Retail Price for iPhone 4 32GB is RM2,690 while iPhone 4 16GB is RM 2,290 according to Maxis iPhone 4 rates page. However, if sign-up as Maxis iPhone 4 subscriber for 24 months contract, i will get the FREE iPhone 4 16GB or 32GB.
According to Maxis iPhone 4 website, the iPhone 4 will be available for purchase at these selected Maxis centres within Klang Valley starting 26th September 2010. If you are staying at other Malaysia states, you can purchase Maxis iPhone 4 starting 27th September.
So far, there is no iPhone4 news at Digi iPhone4 website. But I believe Digi will announce their iPhone 4 contract details and rates very soon to compete with Maxis iPhone 4. By then, Malaysia iPhone 4 fans will have more choices to buy Maxis iPhone 4 or Digi iPhone 4.
